Meet Alexandra Nuțu, a vibrant personality which is a blend of passion, curiosity and creativity. She is a person who believes in constant learning and discovery and she guides herself in life by the motto: ”Live in harmony with the earth”. As for her academic achievements, she has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Biology and Geology at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca and she is currently deepening her expertise by pursuing a Master’s Degree in Neurobiology at the University of Bucharest.

A self-described wanderer of the world and explorer of the mind, Alexandra is constantly seeking a profound connection to nature and a harmonious balance in life. As a zen seeker, she embraces moments of stillness and mindfulness, believing that true inspiration comes from a calm, centered mind.

She also has a true love for culinary experiences, enjoying the process of creating flavorful dishes from scratch, experimenting with diverse ingredients, and sharing her culinary creations with friends and family.

Alexandra joined Wow Lab in November 2024, where she brings science to life for young minds by teaching Wow Lab Mix. Here, she fulfills a childhood dream: making science engaging, interactive and full of wonder. “Wow Lab is the perfect opportunity to offer kids the practical, hands-on science I wish I had when I was in school,” she shares.

In her role at Wow Lab, Alexandra’s top skills—creativity, passion, patience, and exceptional organizational talent—make her approach teaching with excitement and inspiration. Her philosophy reminds us that science isn’t just about knowledge, but also about the joy of discovering.

She believes that the future of science education should cultivate curiosity and critical thinking, making room for playful exploration and thought-provoking science questions that inspire innovation. In Alexandra’s opinion, the goal of science teaching is to create an atmosphere where kids are excited to explore and ask questions.
