Teodora Merișan

Teodora is a student at Politehnica Bucharest, Faculty of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering – specialization Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems and Equipment and we can say about her that she represents the pink energy of the Wow Lab team.

Inspired by the colorful and lively universe of Sanrio, but also by the bold style of the ’90s, Teodora always has a positive and optimistic vibe. For her, life is in shades of pink and she carries this perspective with her everywhere, both in her personal and professional life. Wherever she is, Teodora brings an extra dose of enthusiasm and curiosity.

The motto that guides her in life is “go with the flow”, a philosophy through which she maintains her openness to exploration and continuous learning.

Her passions are diverse and surprising – from science and politics, to gardening and, of course, everything that is pink. Science constantly fuels her curiosity and desire to understand how the world works and politics attracts her through the impact that decisions can have on society. Gardening offers her a balance, a space of peace and connection with nature, where she can relax and recharge her batteries. And pink is present everywhere in her life, being an expression of the optimism and joy with which she looks at life.

Since March 2025, Teodora has been part of the Wow Lab team, where she teaches Food Science and Wow Lab Mix. What motivates her is the desire to offer children the fun and practical scientific experiences that she herself would have wanted as a child.

She encourages little ones to think outside the box and discover science through play and experiment. Teodora’s vision for the future is an inclusive one: a world in which more and more people – especially those underrepresented – have the freedom and encouragement to explore and experiment.

Her strengths – adaptability, inclusive spirit and curiosity – make Teodora a genuine mentor and source of inspiration for children. Through her energy, she manages to transform each workshop into an experience that combines science with the joy of discovery.

Teodora does not see education as a rigid process, but as a creative journey where children’s curiosity can flourish freely, where brave questions are celebrated. For her, learning should be as vibrant and lively as her positive personality.
